performance hoods?
performance hoods?
any of y'all running a " performance " hood like a ram air or a cowl induction hood, does anyone make some thing for a dent?, i know for bumpsides you can take the bolt on fox body cowl hood and bolt it on a bump hood for a hood scoop. any thing like that for a dent?
given the giant grille on dents, I doubt that, short of a giant blower, there's an actual need for a "performance" hood.
I've seen a couple of modified hoods, but I didn't like them. Required cutting out the framework in the center...

Go the other way and pancake it.
...... or a bikini hood but that looks better with dual quads on a tunnel ram intake or a big lung sticking up from it.
.... last idea, cut air relief vents like the newest Ford GT... that's relately easy and there is plenty of room for drainage.

Note the four headlight arrangement in buckin69bronco's post. We really don't need more frontal area so why not use that second headlight opening as a cold air/ram induction a la the '63 Thunderbolt?
BTW, anyone know how this four eyed Ford was created? Would love to know if this is a kit that can be bought somewhere. It's certainly not stock.

After 5ish years of it being on the truck maybe 5 people have commented on the 4 headlight thing being different.
