That is SWEET! You should have made a jig for that. That way you could prolly sell a BUNCH of those before one of the billet grille companies get the idea!

Haha I did make a jig for them and it still took me 2-3 night per side to make and that doesn't count the weld clean up, polishing the leading edge and paint. Don't think this would have a good profit margin!

Gah!! I wish they made a billet grille like that! That looks fantastic, I'd want it with just single
Lights, but it still looks great, excellent work!

Super nice fab work. I said I was going to make one, but the shop has just been too busy for me to take time out on something like this. Maybe after I catch up a little, I can start getting some of my "wouldn't that be cool" projects started.

Great job! Thanks for sharing.

The hood if from Autofab, it's their fiberglass drop center hood. I've also got their fiberglass raised wheel well arch fenders. Over all they were really good quality with only one fender needing some fiberglass work.

The hood bolts to the original mounts and just uses a lighter strength spring. It doesn't have enough center height to use the hood latch so hood pins it is. It also needs some bumpers on the firewall to keep it in the right spot when shut.

Been seeing this truck for a while and finally was able to talk to the guy that owns it. He bought it brand new and has had it every since. 1975, 360, auto (updated to AOD) and custom headlight bezels "from a car in the junkyard".

DONT like the square ones at all... dont like the center insert either.. do like quad round ....

Truck has been on the road for about a year now and I think I have gotten 2 people who have mentioned the quad lights. Guess it blends in better than I thought it would.

That is because if someone isn't in the know, it looks like it could be factory.

Well, there is an expected level of workmanship and overall design consistency which Buckin69bronco has exemplified in his handiwork.

The black truck above? It looks like a mandrill's rear end.

What?... Dunno what a mandrill is? I encourage you to Google it.
