Bent steering shaft question

Hello and trying to pull my steering wheel off I accidently bent the end of the shaft slightly so now the wheel turns around crooked. The threads are still good. But, was wondering how to correct this problem. Any ideas? Thanks for all replies.

The shaft can be straightened, but it will be very difficult with it in the truck. Once it is out I would use a pair of V-blocks and a brass or lead hammer. I have also seen it done with a brass or lead hammer on a flat anvil, but that takes a bit more care to avoid damaging the shaft.

You will have to pull the shaft and if you are not confident straitening it any machine shop will be able to do it.
