Help with Flathead Upper Rear Main Seal Replacement
I have to replace the upper rear main seal because mine is cracked. When I re-assemble do I have to re-align the crankshaft and camshaft timing marks or just drop it back in?
BTW I thought of this after I finished re-assembly.

Sadly, I suspect you know the answer to that! Is the engine back in the truck now? Did you have the crank all the way out, or just dropped down a ways with the rods still on? It will probably be easiest to remove the timing cover and "correct" the timing by removing the cam gear and turning the cam.
