I have a 1999 ford f250 super duty supercab and I'd like to find another one of these... can somebody give me some information (part number,name,etc.) Thank you This is the driver side door thats missing the peice and with it it seems like the door osnt shutting all the way, and it scraping the paint when i go to close it.
I believe that is called a door bumper, you can just pull the one you have off and go to the dealer and match it. However if the door is not shutting, and is scraping paint I suspect that that is not your problem. You probably have an out of adjustment, or worn door hinge. Is there any play if you try to lift back end of the door with it open slightly? If so you need hinges. If it is tight either a hinge is sprung or just out of adjustment. If you can't determine which, a good body shop should be able to tell you and even fix it with out increasing the national debt.
