Different forums, different rules. I understand that. However, the anonymity of the web tends to bring out the worst in some folks. To me, this type of behavior should be called out by the other members if the Moderators let it go.

So I can either start attacking you personally or I can agree to disagree. Although it may be less entertaining to some readers, I would agree to disagree and let it go.

I'm up to $.05.

Had to at least get you up to a nickel John, nothing is sold for less than that now a days, even penny candies cost a nickel now.

Hope you guys all get to enjoy the old trucks roaming around, have an awesome one!

Hey John
5 cents Canadian isn't what it used to be... You may need to bump
it up to ten cents or so. I totally agree with you. I've backed up a bit
on my participation here .... the tone was trending negative. Hoping for a more
positive approach going forward..

I also agree with Dave that AX had a knack for showing minimal tact in communicating
at times .... leading some members to take on the task of knocking his posts.

I've been enjoying watching some of our younger members show their creativity in building their trucks.
"Gick" who graduated from college & moved to Michigan to continue his build has been especially uplifting.

John,
Ax was not averse to upsetting people. Personally I saw nothing wrong in what was said or any need for moderation in the link posted. If you can dish it out you need to be able to take it. I really have not witnessed anything but mutual respect and help for posters on this forum in the vast majority of cases. If the rest of the world got along as well we'd be doing alright.

Hi all, if I may make a suggestion. IMPO I think everyone that wanted to, has had a chance to express there feelings on this matter. And at this point I think there is little to gain that is positive by continuing. I'm not a Moderator and am not in charge of anything, but as a member of this great family,(just one voice in thousands) I personally will be very happy when this thread comes to its end and is laid to rest.

AX is not a member of the two 'other' Ford truck sites I'm a member of.

Neither can be mentioned by name, as FTE frowns on both these sites.

You'll have to search for them yourself. I have found them to be not as good as FTE.

Can I just say the advice I received from AX was appreciated. I never had a problem with his attitude as others did. It's a shame he did what he did at times, it's a shame others did what they did. Two wrongs don't make a right. This forum has always had more rights than wrongs and the moderators have always done their best to stop the wrongs. It's time for that to happen as suggested by Jimmy. If a fellow FTE'r as compassionate as he is request it to be closed I vote it should be done. My $2 worth (as 2 cents just doesn't go far enough to today). Have fun

Both are basically "chit-chat" sites with next to no info for 1948/56's. I sent DR Smith an email...
