f250 turning radius

Hi All,

Can someone tell me the official turning radius of a 1996 F250 extended cab 4wd PS? I am trying to compare it to the new F150s.

Thanks!

I don't have the official numbers, but I won't attempt a u-turn unless it's a three lane road.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. A crewcab long bed F150 will out turn a reg cab F250

^^^^^ This. (I believe the owner's manual measures it in fathoms....) IIRC it's the worst of all model/cab/bed combos. Overall longer than a CCSB F250, and since a CCLB is an F350 by definition, they set up the steering for the Dana 60 to be tighter than the Dana 50. So I think even a CCLB F350 will out-turn it. Or it'll be close anyway.

I think just about anything will have better turning radius than a 4x4 OBS F-250. I couldn't do a U-turn in a 4 lane highway if I wanted to.

My Dad's 05 F-350 CCLB has a better turning radius then my RCLB, and it's like 4ft longer.

EDIT: I think this might have a better turning radius than my F-250

I've always described it as the turning radius of a bus. That's the only thing I don't like out my truck. As a guesstimate 15 to 20 feet
