Did Ford ever produce a 1978 F-250 Flareside with an extended cab? There is a guy here locally who has one for sale and the bed is clearly from an '80-'86 truck, but it looks pretty cool and it got me wondering whether such a critter was actually ever produced from the factory. I can't find any information to indicate it was. Anyone, Bueller?

 

I seem to recall they maybe made a 2wd or 4wd F150 reg cab with a flareside bed and a 2wd or 4wd F250 reg cab long bed flareside, but no SC (extended cab) flareside.

Folks have been putting the 80's flareside (grey truck with red rims) on there since a good older flareside bed is hard to find.

Note that the 2nd pic silver truck is an 8 lug, I believe they did not make a short bed F250 version.
