It has a new radiator, actually didn't need one in my opinion because it didn't change a thing.
I'm thinking it is the lack of air flow at low speed, and pulling hard. If any of you are familiar with I80 or 50 over the Sierras. The summit is 7000 ft and long hard 6% grades especially heading east. In the thin air above 5000 is when I really notice the problem and loss of power.
Perfect excuse for a supercharger, thin air is why they were made...
Yes a supercharger would be nice, but it is also six grand not counting labor.
Get a supercharger/intercooler combo from a Lightning or Shelby GT500, then reflash your PCM with the Lightning's programming.
Someone that's good with hacking hexadecimal code could probably make a hybrid Lightning/Expedition PCM program for you. Who wants to crack open a PCM and get pics?
One thing I'm good at is writing code, with that said if you don't know what values to change and what to change them to, you can really screw things up.
If I could find a decent used supercharger at a reasonable price, say 3k I would do it. But putting another six grand into a fifteen year old truck probably isn't a good investment. If I sold the F150 and picked up a used F250 or F350 diesel I would probably be better off in the long run. But like I said, I really love my old truck.

Having a signal generator for the signal inputs certainly would help narrow down the variables. iIt's just a process of guess and check mostly, same way I hacked PS2 game saves to unlock developer features. Hex editor is your friend
