Question Violent Front Bouncing

Alright, I cannot figure this out. So hopefully someone who is more knowledgeable than me might have some insight: I have a essentially 1990 F250 with a Dana 60 swap on the front end. it has been going well for several years, but a few years ago every now and then if I hit a big bump, it would bounce on the drivers side front. Violently, and wouldn't stop until I would slow down or stop. It would happen so rarely that I couldn't even diagnose it. Now however, the problem is so bad that it happens over the slightest bump at any speed. Here is the tricky part, the problem still persists after 3 different tires of different sizes, a different Dana 60 that has king pins instead of ball joints (upgraded just cause, not to fix this problem), new leaf spring bushings, a different front leaf spring hanger, and different shocks. I'm down to getting a whole different leaf spring assembly and seeing if that does it. Has anyone had this problem or seen it before? I would greatly appreciate any insight. Thanks!

I'm curious as to the condition of the cab mounts and frame.

Following out of curiosity...

How is the track bar mounted if this was a 250?

In my definitely non-expert opinion, I am guessing that while the symptoms are the same, the causing issue is probably different. The reason I say that is because you have pretty much changed out your entire front end. When it did the shaking sporadically, you changed the tires. Maybe that stopped the sporadic shaking. Then you changed out the entire front end basically, and now it happens much more frequently. What was the last thing you swapped out before it shook after every bump? I guess I would target that. Also, while you have changed your tires 3 times, have you changed them since you finished swapping everything else out? Maybe it's just a matter of the tires not "agreeing" with the newest change?

Google Death Wobble and the potential fixes and things to check. That will get you in right direction.

Check things like bushings and bolts and make sure everything is tight and in working condition. Also check caster angle to make sure you're within range. Those are the two biggest causes of death wobble.

The track bar uses the rear TTB hanger that would hold up the beam headed to the passenger side, then a custom bar with a very sturdy bushing on one end and a johnny joint on the other. i checked them both and they are tight and show no sign of abuse that would lead me to think that it was the cause.

Update: Today I talked to the guy at the spring shop here in town; according to him it is most likely the spring pack. He said that the problem is rare but that when the bouncing persists after new shocks and balanced tires it is that the leaf spring. So rather than spend 320 bucks for two new springs I went to the local pick apart and got a used one for 40 bucks. ran out of daylight tonight but hopefully I can get it on tomorrow. I will be sure to post to let you know if that was the problem, or if I was merely being up sold some springs to go along with the U bolts I got today.
