Ignition gremlin
I have a 92 f-150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.8 and E4OD tranny. Here's the problem. It won't start when temps drop below 60 overnight. When I turn the key I hear the fuel pump engage, but the engine won't turn over. The battery is fine, it has a new starter and starter relay. It will start and run if I jump it off the celinoid. However if you drive it the odometer doesn't work and it shifts erratically. This is only in the mornings, once temps warm up during the day it starts and runs perfectly. Anyone ever dealt with this?
