What does the Platinum Ultimate Package come with that the Regular Platinum doesn't have??
Im not trying to be condescending at all, but your question doesnt make sense.
When you do build and price on Ford's site, and you click the Ultimate package you can see what it included;
Platinum Ultimate Package: Adaptive Cruise, Lane departure warning, Twin panel moonroof, Ultimate Tow Camera System w/the CHMSL camera.
Now if you meant is there anything in that package that you cannot add separately then yes, it would appear that the only thing in that package you cannot buy separately from my research is the lane departure warning. Everything else can be bought ala carte or stand alone.
Adaptive Cruise: $740
Lane Departure Warning: ???
Twin Moonroof: $1025
Ultimate Tow Camera System: $710
CHMSL Camera: $200
Total: $2675 for items separate VS. Platinum Ultimate Pack: $2785. So with that in mind it would appear that the Lane Departure Warning is $110 bucks.
In the F150 trucks the lane departure warning will steer you back in the road by itself, you can literally let go of the steering wheel and it will keep you between the lines due to electric power steering. This is not the case in the superduty due to NON ELECTRIC Steering. It will only give you a warning that you are leaving the lane or roadway.
Honestly, I do not know why you keep letting Ford ream you (although this is really a good thing as I own Ford stock). I would think that your backside is so sore by now, that you cannot even sit down.
$63k base price on the Platinum truck, then you pay extra for adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
The Toyo Corolla L (base price $18.5K) comes standard with these features.
no its all good my question should have been better phrased i was trying to figure that ou. i don't really care for moonroof but wanted those safety features but the truck i found has moonroof as standalone option but none of the stuff i wanted i.e. 360 camera i really wanted that.

o i agree it does seem like they nickel and dime you for everything i figured platinum would have everything at that price point but guess not the case.

If people want something bad enough, they'll pay for it, and obviously we want it that bad!

Different strokes for different folks I guess.
But the last time I used my Toyo Corolla L to pull my gooseneck I only got 2.1 mpg which is unacceptable in my opinion.
Of course, this has nothing to do with my comment.
Well sir, your comment was one of the dumbest most condescending comments I have read in a long time. Why do you care if someone wants to get "reamed" by ford for adding "expensive" options that can be found on a ridiculous Toyo Corolla L for 18K. My banker doesnt even ask me why I add expensive options that I "do not need", and he owns the note that I pay monthly. Unless you are going to be the one writing the check for the full amount, or the monthly payment for someone else's truck your opinion doesn't matter.
