It's Alive!!!
Well I've been working on this truck on and off for nearly a year now. It finally runs on its own without issues. Just a recap, late last fall it popped a head gasket. After pulling the engine and doing a complete teardown, I decided to go through with a complete overhaul top to bottom. It went to the local machine shop for the full treatment. It was bored .020" over, R&D stage one camshaft, new pistons, rebuilt injection pump, new injectors; and topped it off with a Banks Sidewinder turbo. Looking forward to getting the old truck back on the road, planning on plowing snow with it this year.
