Replacement shocks

Are there any replacement shocks that have been set for the 17s yet? I've heard great things about Rancho 9000, Bilstien, and upper end Fox, but are they just "off the shelf" at this point or have any been calibrated for the 17s?

I think that is a cheap upgrade but want to get it right.

I'm running the Fox 2.0 with external reservoirs and they ride excellent. I'm confident they weren't "calibrated" for the 2017 model but they work as good as I could hope for. While some guys may not notice a difference, I've personally built and driven several hot rods from the ground up so I'm kinda picky about ride quality. No complaints on these shocks so far.

Tough to beat that setup for shocks! And I agree, good shocks make all the difference

anything else done to the truck or is that the only change? Just wondering if it was combined with a suspension lift. I'm looking to only level and ad shocks

Mine is lifted 6", but I'm sure they have a shock with a shorter stroke.

I did check and it does not look like they have anything for 2017 yet, but I suppose I could use the 2016 stuff.

With the change in the frames on the 2017's not sure I would try shocks for a 16.

I'm only trying to help with this post, so do you own homework before you spend "your" money...

Here are the FOX 2.0 shock part numbers which work great on my 2017 F350 with a 6" lift (as pictured above):

98524101 FRONT
98524106 REAR

Note, the lower REAR bushing sleeve needed to be exchanged to fit the 2017 bolt. Otherwise these are supposed to be the same as the 2016, or so I was told.

The ride is excellent and no issues after 1,000 miles so far.

Fox is saying that their 2106 product is what you should order for the 2017's.

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards the BDS level kit that includes the fox 2.0 shocks and casters, and you guys helped me confirm that desicion. Thanks.

The link is below. Select the 2" if you'd like to see what I am about to order.
