Bigfry... Come on we were driving a Dodge product do you think that truck could get up enough momentum in the deep mud to even push this guy over!? No the guy with the shot gun was yelling at us to get out of there or he was gonna call the cops. Well we did what he wanted just to keep everyone else happy.
Here goes another one!... My buddy and I were out muddin in a big field that was flooded. He had his 1980 Chevy 1/2 ton 4wd, and I had my 84 yet again with bald tires ( heavy foot in those days!) The entrance of the field had two ways in: 1 a big water hole with deep ruts in the bottom 2 a not so wet but very muddy spot with some ruts. I chose #2 I popped it in 4hi, put the pedal down, and let the mud fly; got through no problem. My buddy chose #1 he took it easy going in and about halfway through he mashed it, unfortunately he was not so lucky. He had hung up his plow frame and front axle. I pulled around to the back of him and hooked my 26 ton towstrap to his trailer hitch and to my hitch on the rear of my 84. I shifted into low range and popped er in granny, I pulled forward to tighten the strap. I eased into the gas but all 4 broke loose, put it in reverse backed up a few feet and mashed it in second. It took about 15 really hard yanks to finally free the Chevy. I got cocky (stupid) and tried the water hole but from the other side and guess wait...yep I hung the whole frame of my 84! This time it was my buddies turn to pull me out. We tried everything, pulling, yanking, a come-a-long, logs under the tires...EVERYTHING! We came to the conclusion we were gonna need another truck. I locked up my truck (Ha like anyones gonna steal it!) We hopped in the Chevy to get help, just as we were leaving we were driving through the muddy spot when the Chevy got stuck yet again. Now we had two trucks stuck! After some cussing and sweating we got the Chevy out by winching with a come-a-long hooked to a blueberry bush. We then went to another friend house he had 90 GMC Jimmy built up nice for the trails. We got back to the field with more towstraps, my other buddy tried yanking on me with his GMC but gained nothing but another broken towstrap (another of many others). Our last and final attempt we hooked but trucks together and then to my truck. After several good yanks I finally came out. Funny, it took one Ford to pull out a Chevy...but it took two Chevys to pull out one Ford some how this adds up?
I had a 79 Ramcharger a few years back, went wheelin with a friend drivin' his 77 D200 FT4x4. As soon as he hit the dirt, his front driveshaft fell out. Oh well he says. We refer to him as the guywho will try anything once. We got to the resevoir, and there were some waterfilled ruts he had to try, he floored it, got about 3/4's through, and then hung up his rear axle(POSI is no good if the wheels don't touch). I backed up my RC, also FT4x4, hooked up the strap, and instantly buried all 4 tires. The person with the car never showed up, so we ended up walking 18 miles in 104 degree heat, when my brother happened to drive by in his chevy Luv 2wd. Went to my friends house, and swiped his dads PSD, got back to the lake, hooked up my truck, and sunk the PSD, but after unhooking it, we were able to free it with some digging, stupid street tires. On the way out of the lake, the PSD developed a nasty bearing squeal on the front. Then we went to my father in laws, house cuz he has an ARB'd jeep, and his brother happened to be there with his 95 F-150 4x4. The jeep couldn't do it alone, just threw dirt all over my truck, hooked up the jeep and the ford, and freed my RC, then I backed up to the D200 on a different line, hooked the D200 to my RC, and my RC to the Jeep, and pulled the D200 together. On our way out, the D200 got stuck again on a stream crossing, he got the front thru to dry ground, but sank the rear. luckily a quick yank with the strap freed him, and we made it home. We went wheeling at 1, and didn't get home untill 11 that night. we were totally fried from the walk too.
here is the most retarded stuck. i had just bought my 77 f150 4x4 the day before and a friend from out of town come to visit me. so we desided to go 4wheeling. we set out to my favorite spot only to find the the city had closed it off! so not to let that stop me, we went around to the back entrace to go play, well we were going along fine when we saw they had blocked all the back trails leading in with tree logs and branches. well to show my friend this new tough ford pick-up and plowed on through the pile, well the logs jammed into the front axle and oil pan. took us forever to get the log out and truck moving again.
Ok Well I have a 88 chevy 4x4 with a 3 inch body lift and 33' futura all-terrains on them and my friend has a 86 chevy with 31 bfg all-terrains. Well one day we decided to skip school and go mudding, it was sprickling so we thought it would be the perfect time to go, we had fun for awhile after we got there, then all of a sudden I blew a tire, man this sux I said and looked at my co driver, then we called our friend who went with us in his 86 chevy and asked him if he could help pull us out, about that time we look up to see roster tails shooting 50ft in the air and the frame laying a 2ft in the mud, we waited 4 hours till a chevy s-10 tried to pull us out he got stuck attempting, then 2 hrs later a Ford 2002 model f-150 came and pulled us out. Man what a lesson learned don't skip school.

I went home on leave in May because of a family emergency. I wasn't home for more than 3 hours when I got a phone call from my buddy. He was out playing in the mud at our usual stomping ground when he buried his 86 Shivie Suburban 4wd. So of course I grabbed all my off road equipment: towstraps, chains, Hi Lift jack, come-a-long, shovels, and a couple boards. It was well after dark which didn't help matters. Another buddy of mine who happened to be visiting hopped in the ol 84 with me, and we headed out to the scene of the grime. Now this particular Suburban was riding on 30 inch tires if I remember right. Well his rocker panels and bumpers were level with the ground. We first tried hooking to the frame at the rear and pulling it out backwards, and gained absolutely nothing. Then we tried winching with boards under the tires...nothing. The ground was too soft to use the Hi Lift. So we went to the front and tried it...I ripped his front bumper off, and bent the frame horns. By now his tranny was starting to slip badly, and his motor took a pretty big gulp of swamp water. Not wanting to do anymore damage a wrecker was called, about an hour later a bright red 2000 F550 PSD 4wd, 6spd wrecker pulled up and the Suburban was freed. the Suburban was in no shape to be driven, so I towed it home with my 84; where it still sits not moving!
