dropped socket under turbo, any solution?

Found it.

It didn't make it into the lower pan. But right atop the rear from the lower pan access it was sitting on a ledge. Right up by the trans. Sigh of relief.

That was going to be my suggestion as well . You can buy them at harbour freight etc...and it might take several tries but you can bend it and keep trying different angle... you should be able to tell if it picks up on it by feel

Theres one, thank goodness. Maybe the original poster's socket is close to where yours is?
