Draining coolant

Just pulled a good running 5.0 out of an 87 F250. It's going to be stored for a bit and the concern is that the previous owner was running straight water as the coolant. It gets pretty cold up here and the engine will be in unheated storage. Of course, drained the rad during disassembly and tipped the engine enough to run what I could out the hoses. I don't think this should give me any problems with freezing up, but anybody have any knowledge of possible pockets in the block that might not drain?

There should be a pipe plug near the base of each side of the block that you can open up to fully drain the water jackets. On the passenger side, it's near the front. while it's near the rear on the driver's side.
