DVD/player with navigation
Wondering about kenwood dvd/cd player with navigation upgrade. I guess I can also add backup cam? They tell me all the other functions will be controlled by the player, (fan control, engine temp and other functions). This is a little concerning to me. All this new age tech stuff. Unfortunately I'm not new age... some info from younger generation would help. This by the way is a pricy venture, 1250.00. P.s. How do you tell if you have the stock Sony system?

Easy way to tell if you have the Sony system is most will have a Sony emblem on the door speaker cover. You can also look under the rear seat if it's a crew cab and see if there is a factory sub.
For the money I would just upgrade the head unit to a touch screen without the navigation. The Nav on my iPhone works much better and will save you a several hundred bucks.
