It is a 74' F100 with a 1985 302 and a 1995 Mustang Manual 5 speed.
Unfortunately, there was no speedo cable in the truck. Ergo, my first trip around the block resulted in a dribble of trans fluid coming from under the car.
Shot in the dark, does anyone know if the original cable will fit into a 95' transmission?
I looked into it, and the speedo sensor for the 95' mustang transmission is identical to the mechanical speedo for a '74 transmission. I went to autozone and pulled parts for both and compared. I will be hooking it up on Friday.
