po 500 code

po 500 code
new to forum. always on it to review information figured i would join. got a po500 code very random. speedo works as it should. get the code on the highway. very intermittent, changed the speed sensor still no luck. got me a little overwelmed not to good with electrical diagnostics. any help would be apreciated. vehicle is 96 f150 4x4 e40d 5.0
