This appears to be the case with the Pre-1974 accelerator pedal replacement (what in the world?), intend verifying with Green's Monday; if they offer the reproduction replacement; if so, then I will either order from Green's, or DC and check the fit once the item arrives the following week.
Green has (10) C5TZ-9735-B .. the original 1965 F100/250 2WD accelerator pedal (before serial number 696,001), and they're probably NOS because it's not reproduced, AFAIK
Carpenter has (934) C1TZ-9735-C that FoMoCo replaced C5TZ-9735-B with in August 1974. These are also probably NOS because Carpenter is buying obsolete parts direct from FoMoCo.

The C1TZ-9735-B pedal in the picture came from Carpenter and says made in India, probably not NOS. But nicely made. The rubber is a bit stiff at the hinge but it will most likely loosen up with use. At any rate you guys pushed me over the edge yesterday and I ordered one from Green. Should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll let you know how it fits. I suppose if they have the only 10 left in the world, "9 now" they can charge whatever they want.

I was going to place an order with Green's today, now I will wait, world supply may be down to 8?
[QUOTE=NumberDummy;16631016]If I were to buy the remaining, there would be none left and then you'd be sorry you "didn't step up!"
if you snooze...you loose! It is the story of my life.
Well, the 'snoozing' comment got to me, held out longer than Crop Duster and attempted to place the order; apparently Green's is not open on weekends? Imagine Green's has had these, now 9 pedals, collecting dust for quite some time. Monday I will have to see if I can hold out until Crop Duster reports. If there should be a run on these pedals and find them on ebay for $100, I be lookin for U.
The pedal finally showed up. Green won't get the award for fast shipping, but it's got a Ford sticker on it and it is a perfect fit just like the original. The exposed metal is a little rusty but will clean up easily. I think I'll glue some rhinestones to it to give it a little bling' that way it will be easier to live with the price.

Thank you for the input, cost now a bit easier to come to terms with. Looking forward for it's arrival, aint got an accelerator pedal, can be a challenge in applying the brake and giving it some gas by manipulating the right little toe and the heel of the foot at the same time can get interesting?
Update; order arrived few minutes ago; hmmm, found the pedal, which consist of the heel and foot is ridgid; that is to say, not flexible; thus, I assume in torquing the pedal to the floor I need to allow for some flexibility??
