Sent an email to Recon about LED lighted badges. Got the following response. Figured I would post it for those of you who didn't order LED headlights but want them.

"
Yes, we are working on the emblems, the projector LEDheadlights, and the LED taillights! They should be available towards the end ofthe year! Stay tuned!

Thank you,

Good To know, I will will be watching for them.
With all the other things I plan on doing when the truck arrives the $2000+ OEM LED lights are last on the list. So, I will wait around until January and see what they have available and (by then) know what I will need to swap out to OEM LED's.
Then I will decide.

The quality of some aftermarket lights may be as good or better than oem, but they just have that aftermarket sporty look to them. Some people may like that that, but i personally think it makes the truck look cheap. If they would make some close to the oem look, i would be all over them.

Another option for those wanting LED lighting is to do a front bull bar or wench bar and add the LED projectors. Or do a Rigid Industries light bar.

This would be fore pure functionality, if you're after pure asthetics, then the OEM lights are probably the way to go.

Thanks Force... Recon's stuff looked okay for the 11-16 trucks..
I would really hope that some aftermarket company would take heavy styling cues from the OEM LED lights..

Just found this. Id rather have the look of the oem leds, but they offer the halogen upgrade.

As long as you don't need headlights on your truck for 1-2 weeks, plus shipping time there and back. I'm all for LED lighting, but I'll be happy with my halogen lights.
