So my truck left the Ford dealer without a state inspection. Dealer said "duallys" require rear mud flaps per state law and claims Ford has them on back order. So I've been driving it for a few days now without a sticker.
Anyone know if the Ford flaps are available or if someone else offers them? Duraflap doesn't seem to show the 2017's and the dealer was adamant not to use anything that required drilling the aluminum.

I too have left the dealership short of Mud Flaps (Front and Rear). As I was told, the manufacturer did not supply them to the Plant for the install and will be mailed to me upon receipt. I made contact with Ford through Chat about this issue..... Was advised to contact my selling dealer for updates or latest information. My intention is to call the dealer tomorrow.

Yours was a 450, right? I'm guessing the flaps are the same. Wonder if it is just dual rear wheel trucks with the issue. Is it an inspection issue in your state?
My dealer said possibly next week for the flaps. They will install them free if I bring the truck in, or I can just install them myself.

I got an F350 with flaps all the way around. Yes, it's an inspection issue here. But, yesterday I looked around and saw several without..... Inspections are "Lax" Ahem, here. Not saying I'll get away with it or not, just think it will not come up for cause.
Missing or damaged mudflaps are a good way to get pulled over in a commercial operation, quite often just a wedge in the door to inspect everything. Not so much enforcement on pick-ups. About as much attention paid to them as turning right on red without stopping and cutting off traffic. Both offenses about the same in the eyes of the law.
The extension fenders on the dually trucks seem to be plastic which will make this more difficult, being from Texas I am also in need of them and hoping someone makes splash guards for these like I had on my 15 from Ford...I am amazed that there is nothing available thru parts yet.
I ordered them as an option on my 350 SRW, front and rear. I'm not sure I really like the look but I love the functionality so I order them on all my trucks. Helps to keep my truck cleaner and doesn't throw rocks at the cars behind me.
