I was told by shop manager to run touchless mud flaps due to the aluminum body. Not entirely sure what that means but sounds good.

I have not found any touchless in my searches.

I think what he meant was to run your truck through a touch less car wash so not to damage the mud flaps and body.

They do not fit in regular tunnel-type washes. only a couple of inches clearance past the folded mirrors. That big fat back just won't fit. And for the lift and levelers, you have to be careful. Height clearance is 84 or 86 inches usually.

My dealer insists on using only Ford flaps on the aluminum body as well.

I found these flaps on the Ford Accessory website. Says they are for 2017 Super Duty hope they are right as I ordered them!

Front Set: CL3Z-16A550-R
Rear Set: HC3Z-16A550-D

If someone can figure out if the front set does not work on a 450 before I get them please let me know

The install brackets are made by gator and only use one screw which is already part of the body. The rest is snap fittings. Exact same as f150.

I did some digging and emailed gatorback who said they are making them in Canada and delivering to dealerships oct 31st.

Just so I understand.... The F350 flaps as well as others will be hitting the Dealerships at the end of October? Kool. My Sales Rep was on vacation and Didn't want to bother him over the issue.

The brackets and flaps will be available October 31 through your local Ford dealer. Pricing will be the same as the F150 flaps already available.

Was able to convince the state inspection station to let the lack of mud flaps slide after telling him they were back ordered.

I called Duraflap, they expect to have their drill-less full size mud flaps ready for shipping in the next couple weeks.
On the AL F150 they use Aluminum washers and parts to keep unlike metals from touching the truck. I assume they will do the same.

Ya i heard the same thing. The full kits, No body drill bracket system and heavy duty mud flap should be available on the 31st. In fact i came across the install videos on their website. Sweet set up! I've heard that a heavy duty no body drill flap system from Gatorback using their GB2124 is coming to Ford for the new dually as well.
