I think the guys name was John lived around Northfield that owned it he bought it in 1962. He was or is a truck driver. He ran a 305 it was built like a 302 in specs. high revs.
It was black and lettered Black Death in the earlier years. When I rode in it he had bought the tires and wheels from Godzilla I think thats when the rear wheel wells got cut that big.
Interesting story. I gotta say though it looks VERY uncomfortable to drive with the pedals set up as such. Looks to have a third pedal(bonus points) and a Hurst V gate shifter.

I was fighting to get around #1 in points to win the championship but I ended up running him in the finals so I finished in #2 spot for the year. He was three rounds ahead in points and needed to go out by 2nd round. Didn't happen. Oh well, next year.
