I just brought home a '77 F350 Ranger XLT Super Cab on Saturday with both the arm rests busted. It's a pretty minor thing, but annoying when you're trying to close the door.
Is there any easy fix or aftermarket replacement that is decent quality? Thanks.
If the arm rest mount area (on the door panel) is busted then it sounds like your door panels are in bad shape. If the finger cups/door pulls are broke, you can replace them with metal ones.
I would take the door panels off and see if you can 2 part epoxy the broken mount area for the arm rest? Before you start buying replacement panels. Also make sure the metal bracket the door opening handle is mounted to is secure to the door.
