Jim,

I hope that things are going better for you. You are in our thoughts.

On a side note, I hope that everyone is driving with respect for the weather. Field crews have been REALLY busy here dealing with all of the accidents from people not respecting the changes brought on by several inches of rain coming out of the sky.

+1 I hope things start looking up for you Jim.

Modoc, people are driving stupider than ever here. Not fun when somebody nails their brakes in front of you and you're driving a 70s highboy with four corner drums and dry rotted tires. If they brake check me, I will skid and steamroll them. Not fun.

I feel the same way Mountain...my brakes are horsecrap...

Hey Jim, I wish things were better for vets. Its sad that they're trying to bring in thousands of refugees and help them find homes when we have vets who are in worse situations.

Problem is my brakes are a little too good in the rain! That and not much weight in the back makes for a wild ride I tell you.

And +1, vets really get screwed. Makes me mad.

Ok, finally have some good news to report. I will be moving back into the Vet Plaza, (been there twice before) on Friday, and moving my belongs to storage on Saturday. I will not have to pay for a U-Haul rental, as a friend of a friend has a cargo van and has offered to help. So that will save me money. Just need to rent the storage unit tomorrow, and start moving small stuff that will fit in the car over.

So do I. I was thinking I would only be there a month, but I may decide to make it two months to give me a chance to build up some more money. I will talk to Randy to see if he can start paying me back the money he owes me for the car impound thing too. Even $20 a week will help at this point in time. I should have no problem getting caught up since the only two bills I am behind in are the recliner payment (Not really behind, just have not been able to pay the amount needed to pay it off in 12 months before they tack on interest) and PG&E. Since I will not have a PG&E bill after I move, I can pay off the small amount and the final bill with no problems. I do have to set aside some money for brakes though, the Silver Bullet is pulling to the right when I put on the brakes, and I want to get it fixed before the pads start tearing up the rotor.

Kind of off-topic, but I'm noticing some changes in the way this web site is functioning the last week or so. For example, the drop-down under your user name used to not require a click, but does now. Did they change something, or maybe move the server or something?

So you just lock up your tires? :P

And I'm glad to hear you found a place to live for now!
