Thanks for any help.

Hi Guys,
Well progress it seems this is actually a C600 ? at least they look like my beast. Oh and its 15' 7 " from the cab to the end of the frame. It had a grain bin on the back the seller moved to something else.

The side light plates ---see post 7 & 8. The VIN starting with C61 says it's a C600. The fact that it is a cab over suggests it is a C600.
Check the drivers door for a warranty/data plate. See if the VIN on it matches your title. If so, post a picture of it or copy all the info here and we may be able to get it all decoded. The engine code is in the VIN but all the other stuff is on that plate.

Reason: side plate correction
So why does it show F600 on the side light plates? No such thing.
Look at the emblems again.
Emblems on the doors of 1968 and later C600's with the yellow reflector are not marked FORD F600 .. they are marked FORD 600

Some people confuse C Series Trucks with F Series Trucks because they use similar 500/600/700 etc. emblems with a yellow reflector, but only the C Series has them on the doors.
1968/72 F100/750's have them on the sides of the hood.
You are quite correct (rats) any thoughts on the Vin and missing data plate? or other vin markings on engine or chasey? is there some usable database out there on these?
Also any idea how many were built?
Thanks for any help,

The truck is registered by its specific VIN. Kevin Marti in El Mirage AZ (NW of Phoenix) has all the original 1967/79 FoMoCo records.
Marti can provide production figures, a copy of the original build sheet, a new Warranty Plate with all the correct codes and new rivets and a Safety Standard Certification Label for 1970/79's.
This Safety Standard label has the production date, VIN and misc. GVW codes printed on it.
