I'm starting to work on my 1964 f100 2wd. I'm planning a 302 build, aod swap, and floor pans, but leaving the body as-is.
Anyway, I noticed that the alignment was pretty messed up on the front end and have now determined that the rod (drag link?) that runs between the two wheels to control steering for the passenger wheel is bent like hell. My only guess is that my grandpa wrapped the tow strap around both the rod and the axle when pulling the truck from his shed.
This is the center rod that runs directly behind the front axle and the tie rod ends screw into it.
Any ideas where I can find a replacement or how to straighten it out?
I've added a picture of what the link/rod SHOULD look like. Mine has a pretty good bow in it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Check on Rockauto. If I'm looking at the right part (original engine set up??), they have a Moog center link for $60.00. Tie rod ends also available. I, personally would never re-bend a steering component....spend a few bucks for safety's sake.
