I am looking for information on 6.0 engine suppliers. I have found information on Asheville but I am wondering if anyone has any information on others.
I was hoping to spend considerably less money than the $13,000.00 I was quoted by ford for a long block which has no updates from the original engine. Anyone had any experience with any rebuilders who are using arp studs etc., on their engines?

Thanks for the replies,

I know Asheville is a member here and seems like they are 6.0 savvy, Benny mentioned Anthony ( run 6.0 run) where you located ?
I would not discourage against Asheville,, I just wish they could ship with front n rear covers installed. I like the "T" joints to cure together,, meaning that once the bed plate is installed,, it's go time on the front n rear covers so the sealant in the bed plate,, cures as one with the cover sealant.
I'd pay for an Asheville,, before being given a Ford reman. The videos show for themselves.
Just wanted to give my personal experience with Asheville engine I purchased their 6.0 I chose the option to go .30 over with their stage 2 cam all together a very reasonably priced product.i can't stress enough how good their customer service was they were great to deal with and most importantly my truck runs like a beast and I've had 0 problems and I use it to pull a 14,000 lb fifth wheel all over the east coast. Of course this is only one persons experience but they seem to be a great source for a great product.good luck with whatever you choose to do...
Thanks for the replies. I was looking at Asheville and spoke with Matt today. Only thing that seems a little off is the need to upgrade to oem gaskets but at least they offer the option. The .20 over option looks to be good.
