I'm starting to get the feeling that previous to 2017, Ford's
towing numbers were inflated.

Now it seems the playing field is level.

I have one of the first suspected mis-tagged trucks. With it now being well over 6 weeks since the issue has been found, I think its suspicious that Fords not said anything. Of course Ford pulling down the F350 SRW rating off their website, then putting it back up with an updated number doesn't make any sense either. In short, I have no idea what is going on-lol, but this is great info. Thank You.

Maybe, but there are still a lot of inconsistencies with the tow capacity chart. A SRW 6.2 truck has a higher gcwr than a DRW, some trucks have a higher listed conventional tow rating than they do gooseneck. 250 and 350 diesels are shown to have the same gcwr even though they have different tow capacities.
