stalled while driving
Cruising down freeway and truck stalled out.?? Thought it was the alternator but after towing it home I recharged the 2 month old battery and tried to crank it up and it won't start. Turns over good, battery power is good but won't start.

How many miles? Have you scanned it for trouble codes?

There is a fuse that melts in the underhood fuse box that I've been hearing about, might be worth checking out..

Thanks for replying guys, I have been away watching football. This F150 has 92,000 miles and the neighbor came over with his cell phone app OBD adapter and said that there were no codes.

I think I'd trust a real scan tool over a cell phone adapter.
Do you hear the electric fuel pump turn on when you turn the key run

yes the fuel pump does run when key is turned, the lines pressures up in just a few seconds and the pump shuts off

Only way to know if the "lines pressure up" is to put a fuel pressure gauge on it.
When you turn the key on, the PCM runs the fuel pump for <2 seconds and then shuts it off, no matter what the pressure is.
When you turn the key to the "ON" position (not the crank position) does the
check engine light come on?
And while you're cranking the engine does the check engine light turn off?

OK, when I turn the key to on, all the dummy lights come on then go off except the seat belt and the check engine lights, When I turn the motor over the check engine light goes out.

That's good.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it.
(Or a scan tool may allow you to confirm fuel pressure).
And pull a COP and rig up a plug wire to it to confirm a hot spark.
Let us know what you find.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna let a Ford shop figure it out along with a factory recall and a couple of other things too. I'll let you know back what they find.
