You could use it to kill power to the stater, pretty much what it is made to do. Depnding on how long a cable you want to run, you could put it anywhere you want.
We run them inside on race cars, but I have seen them mounted under the hood on street rides.
Pretty much wherever you want to put it, that you dont mind drilling the hole to mount it.

Slick cheap anti theft device. Moron thief gets in and turns key on and.........nothing. Unless you put it after the solenoid then all the bells and whistles would come on but it would never crank. That would be great too.

Just take the small wire off the solenoid the one thats gets 12volts when the key is turned to start .. extend that wire to the place where you want a sw run a wire back to the solenoid where you removed the wire and wha la you can leave the keys in the truck but make sure you hide the sw well. use the same or one size larger for your wire extension.

Thanks everyone.
I found a spot for it. Next to the fuse panel and left from the data com connector. I bent some of the metal drilled a hole and placed the switch.
