New tool box upgrades

Last week the matco guy at work told me about a toolbox that was a trade in he was selling, its a black and yellow cat edition Husky tool box. It doesn't look too bad in the photo I was shown but as of now I am looking for some upgrades to make the box more useable for me.

First thing is the work surface is yellow with the rest of the toolbox being black. The power strip I want to mount to the top of the tool box I am really preferring to be yellow but just cant find any that will look like they belong. Most of what I find is built in such a way that the text will have to be mounted upside down to get the cord to route the proper way I want it to or they just simply look like something youd find laying on a floor behind a computer desk.

Does anyone here have any ideas on power strips for mounting to a toolbox?

This will be used for charging flashlights, phone and other items that I will be getting in the future.

Thanks for the link, Ive been looking on amazon, got to order some stuff from there anyways. But I saw the uline ones, they just don't appear to have any mounting points and the example photos I seen on amazon of them just simply show them laying on the ground.

I found a nice one its a four terminal yellow square box style with a on off switch would look great mounted on the side or even the top of the box but theres no provisions to mount it to something.

I found a nice black one that is ment for mounting under a desk, I could mount it to the side of the tool box and it has 3 terminals with 2 USBs. But I just don't know how well that would work out mounting it on the side of the box. It would maximize work space on the top work area but at the same time its mounted via a bracket and I don't know how durable that would be plugging and unplugging constantly.

The box was dropped off today by our matco guy. Wasn't as tall as I was expecting but still very useable. I did find out some things that I was wrong about. The box is just plain black, the so called yellow work top was not yellow the photo I was emailed looked yellow the work top is actually a butcher block style wood work surface.

Now with that said I am no longer looking for a yellow power strip, now I am looking for a power strip that has a surge protector on it that I can mount on the top back side of the tool box. I don't want to put it on the actual work top now.

Length of the box is 46" so I like to keep the power strip below 40" as I do not see the need of having a power strip running from one side to the other. The only purpose of this power strip is to charge batteries, flash lights, my phone and my laptop of I take it to work to make use of my PDF parts and illustration guides I have.

I have looked at the Stanley 8 plug surge protector but I don't like how they are built internally photos of the insides show they have bare copper wires running the length of the strip and soldered to the plugs. Only thing separating the wires from the metal case of the box is a thin sheet of plastic which lots are saying is arcing through. So that is off my list. I found some yellow jacket brand ones that are yellow that I thought of using that has a surge protector, but I am reading reviews stating the screws needed to mount this are hard to find the size they have to be and the shape. Like wise this one has a 15 ft power cord I don't need that much. My box currently is located about a foot and a half from a outlet. I can see going with a 6ft cord and just strap the excess up. But not 15ft.

So does anyone have any options, color is not a concern anymore black would be preferable but being mounted on the back no one will really see it anyways.
