1995 lightning 351 cam
So I'm looking at this cam F-150 SVT LIGHTNING HYDRAULIC FLAT TAPPET THUMPR CAMSHAFT (93-95) 351. What will need to be done for this to work is my question!!??!!?? Will it work with the computer. I'm gunna be getting the heads cleaned up and stuff at a machine shop so do they deal with everything on the heads when I give them the cam card?

If its an actual THUMPR from Comp Cams, it will not work with fuel injection. They get the rumpity idle from the 107LSA that the cam is ground on, and that will drive the computer nuts. Also in the grand scheme of things they don't make that good of power, I mean have you seen any mags touting the horsepower gains of the THUMPR series over the XE line? They are ground for sound and that's it.
