hello everybody
i am renewing my membership to this forum and have a few questions. does anyone know anything about 95 windstar 3.8 engines? mine has been abused by the previous owners it had a popped out casting plug behind the flywheel,a disconnected hose to the rear heater and a split radiator all caused by putting more water than antifreeze in the system. would it be cheaper to get an engine from pull and save(150 bucks) and rebuild it or try to fix the motor that was in it it . the motor was tore apart and i think most of the parts are there and i have to deal with the transmission that slipps. it is my wifes van and her dead husband and the body is perfect so there is sintemental value. i might just get an engine and transmission together for about 250 bucks and work with that whats your learned opinion?
