When I read the KTP Forums there are often complaints about tired joints and swollen hands when production is at max. Even with the robots and specialized fasteners and tools it cannot be an easy job and get it right every time day after day and week after week. Watching the speed things travel makes me think of how badly one little glitch in a part can destroy the process or even a minor delay in logistics brings everything to a halt. Thanks for posting!!
Did you guys try the 360 degree feature? Start the video and then click and drag the view. You can see what is behind the camera and into the parts bins. Fascinating.
It's really crazy to see. At full steam, KTP was at mid to high 80s/trucks an hour. I think that was what the number was. Should have written all that down.
One of the best factory tours I have been on. They show many aspects of the build. At the end you get to look out to the inside holding area that is huge. There were Lincoln pick up trucks mixed in that were heading for Mexico. The Raptor was not on the streets yet but there were some also mixed in. Not many visitors noticed the unusual trucks in the mass of F150s. Must see tour.
