Veins stuck open?
2003 6.0 195k deleted not studded, took off from a light hammering on it had to let off fast then when I got on the gas again sounded almost like a gas truck, boots are fine no apparent air leaks anywhere and still feeling a little boost

When you chop the throttle, excess boost will huff out the air intake filter, we call it Turbo Fart. If this what you are referring to, that is normal. If you have no boost the engine will over fuel for lack of boost and you will fog 2 lanes of traffic.

Definitely have boost just not building a lot, the truck sat for about 5 months not running, I just took the turbo apart and cleaned it last week and it was fine and way the veins could be stuck halfway?

It's either the vanes are stuck or you are running a non-inferred PCM flash. Since the PCM will depend on the EBPS for boost, if it's ever disconnected or faulty, it will leave the vanes open and eventually throw a check engine light.
