Does anyone know how to find a schematic or measurements for a 2004 F250 frame? It has extended cab and short bed. Leaf springs. Trying to revive a salvaged truck. It drives, but the frame is definitely off. Can't find any info online to help us know for sure where we need to get it back to. Thanks!
Thank you both. The fleet.ford site has the width measurements we need. Would the workshop manual have any more detailed reference points noted? The truck hit a pole and the both sides of the front of the frame moved toward the driver's side. We have the frame rails the right distance apart but we are not certain they are centered properly. Thanks!
I'm not sure if this will pertain to your problem but keep in mind that there was a chassis change somewhere during the 2004 build year. I remember that when I bought my snow plow I needed the build date for the truck side mount due to this change. I have no idea what changed but perhaps this info will help you in some way.
It should. I did not have much time tonight with two projects going on with a BIG deadline.
The stuff I have looked at in the past give points to work from.
EDIT : I did a quick look just now and found this but it's from the 2003.
I looked into the 2004 section and it referred to the Rotunda Laser alignment system.
Thank you all for such quick responses! The workshop manual pdf has exactly the details we need. 2003 seems to match our truck, so we must have an earlier 2004, or whatever changed that year wasn't the frame. We were really surprised we couldn't find this information with internet searches. So glad for this forum!
