Any Cacti Enthusiasts Here?

I think they are totally cool! I'm not a fan of succulents, except for cacti and agaves. Love how hearty they are. I just picked up a new batch for my yard. Spent a few hours getting them into planters to move around the backyard. These will be permanently planted along the back fence once I have all my cement work done. Post any pics that you might have.

Sure! About the only plant I can keep green. Have lots of Prickly Pears, one of which has spines around 4" long. Oddly enough it is my favorite.

I have over 100 varieties of cacti, mostly in pots.

Sean, that's impressive.

Thanks Bill, I got them mostly from cuttings. That's one handy advantage! Take a photo of your prolific pots when you get a chance.

Cool pic. Do you worry about the larger ones being root bound? I have a prickly pear that's not doing so well. When I pulled it up, it was so root bound, there was no soil left in the planter! ND, can you post some pics?

Don't have any pictures (until now). Have pots in the front, side and backyard.

Here's a pic from Google Earth, cacti behind the gate.

Nice layout. I like the tall skinny one to the left

As they've grown, I've tried to move the pots around. In most of these, the roots grow through the pot drain hole into the soil. Some more than others.
