1964 R&P

I see the kits for R&P that bolt to the straight axle.

Im not so sure how that works since the axle moves.

Has anyone figured out a way to do manual R&P on a 64?

Its not so much that I want PS, I want to get rid of the steering box.

I've yet to figure this out... something in the system has to be able to move with the suspension travel, maybe a slip joint in the steering shaft? Hope someone who knows comes along.

Let's go back a bit. Why do you want to get rid of the steering box? In the way of a swap? worn?

There may be other, better, options than a r&p unit.
