Hi guys I've got a 351 Cleveland in a LWB f100, I'm thinking of putting a Borg Warner 4 speed in it, I'm just wandering what are the positives and negatives of this gearbox, what's it like to drive does it slow the truck up a lot? What's it like at 110kmh on the freeway? Gas Milage increase ? Thankyou in advance
What transmission do you have now? That 4 speed does not have overdrive, so freeway speeds are noisy, and it doesn't help fuel mileage. It is a tough transmission, and the granny gear is nice off road. You will almost never use 1st gear unless you are off road.

Or starting from a dead stop with a heavy load.
Let the trany do the work not the clutch!

I've got a c6 in it at. The moment but I'm looking at doing a 4wd swap in the future and I'm wandering can I just use the c6 that I have now and just get a transfer case adaptor for it

Unless you have a special attachment to that truck, I'd think about selling it and buying a 4x4. There are a lot of extra parts to convert and even if you don't want to part with it, still would be best sourcing a complete truck so you have all the parts.
Truck has strong connection with my whole family as my grandad bought it brand new in 81 and he has passed away and it now is mine, would be a lot esker buying a 4x4 but ain't gonna happen, what the difference between a 2wd c6 and a 4x4 one?
The output shaft is different between the 2.
The 2 can inter-change by swapping the output shafts but to do so you needto rebuild the trany as the output shaft is the last to come out and first to go in on a rebuild.
There was also a post not too long ago the 4x4 C6 pan is deeper than the 4x2 pan but don't see this as a big deal just add a larger cooler and roll with it.
