Hey yall I'm trying to find a some headers for my 1988 F150 i've looked just about everywhere, if any one knows where i might be able to a set, please let me know.
I've got Hedmans on my 90, Summit sells them for about $135. They are not an easy install. If you do a search you should find several threads on this topic.
I wouldn't buy anything from Clifford. They are way too overpriced and have some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. If you do a search for them you will find plenty of negative feedback about them. I tried to buy some headers from them before I got the Hedmans, but they took just as much effort to install and cost twice as much. It didn't help that getting them to tell me what I had to do to install them was like pulling teeth. They just weren't interested in giving me any information until the had my money and it was too late.
Jegs has Hooker Super Comp's - about $325. My starter just started acting up again today and I'm glad I returned the SC's. The starter will drop out easier with the EFI's & Walker downpipe than with the STOCK exhaust. I opted out on the Hookers specifically for that reason - a starter swap would have been much more of a PITA.
The Hooker Super Comps (Jegs) would have fit on my (4X4)Bronco - but like I said - starter R & R would have been a royal pain...ITA. They were listed as 4X4 application.
