So I recently gave my 65 f100 to my step daughter as a wedding gift. And I needed a new truck. So I picked one up that was 30 years newer. It was for sale locally on the side of the road.
One owner, XLT, 2wd, 4.9L ,manual trans, 83,000 miles, fully loaded, even found the lumbar control
It needed a pass window motor, and I swapped out the front gas tank because the PO said it smelled like gas when he put more than a half tank in it. He had some suspension work done to it, new radius arm brackets, and cc822 front springs. I added a 1.5" leveling kit, and headed off to the alignment shop. They could not get the camber within spec, it's about 1deg positive, but the caster and toe are good. The knuckle is as close to I beam as it can get. I. replaced the 235's with a set of 31x10.5x15's. love the look now. I need to repair some body cancer on her yet, but am happy with the way it looks!
