Issues with a utility bed for a dually on a single axle frame?
I have a single wheel crew cab frame that I want to add a utility bed and make a trailer. I also plan on running rather large tires on the trailer so that they interchange with my truck.
I know dually beds are wider, and I think this would help some with the bigger tires, but is there a reason why this wouldn't work?
Thanks in advance for your input!

The utility bed should have a very similar sized wheel wells as a standard bed, your big tires fit in your standard bed wheel wells..........so it would seem as though the tires would also fit in the utility bed wells. The utility beds that I've had in the past actually had a bit more room than factory bed's wheel wells, but depending on your bed and tires you may need a little lift to fit the big tires.

Leo, here is a thread from the EXcursion forum about a member building a similar but different utility body overland trailer, he is using a fabricated frame under his single wheel body.
