I see gauges in place of the radio. When I was looking for a pod, I came across a DIN pod, which put three gauges in the spot for the radio and angled them toward the driver. How's that working out for you? Can you get a better pic?
Papabearyuma. I just have my gauges mounted to the heater controls for now. I'm actually making a gauge pod that fits where the radio goes that is angled towards me.I have a hard time buying something I can make. I will post pics of it when I'm done with it.
I just ordered my carpet from stock interiors,my cab is off the chassis,no tranny in the way.So I thought now is the time to fit the 4x4 manual hump, and cut out for the sticks.

These are pretty easy to make and the angle rings are available from Summit, Jeg's, etc. I like to use a piece of road-sign gauge aluminum and either leave it raw (kinda racy) or use black wrinkle-finish paint (kinda classy). I've always mounted the radio in the glove-box. Even easier these days with small ipods and MP3 players.
It's a good look, IMO.
Speaking of looking good...that carpet kit looks great, Justin. Sorry you had to cut up your floor, but you did the right thing.
