We had our 45th high school class reunion this evening. They thought it would make a nice picture around the truck. I guess we had too many people that came tonight. Dennis
My wife is threatening to take me to her 40th reunion in early October.
It's tough when you graduated from a different high school across town...
Ugggh .. Dennis you are killing me... I have to start practicing my potted plant impression..
I do like your truck. Maybe I can bring our's to the reunion & just talk trucks for a couple
of hours. That doesn't sound too bad. You always make me think about chocolate - Lititz is a very tasty place.

My Dad worked at Wilbur Chocolate Co. for 38 years. We always had good chocolate in our house.

I went to my wife's 10 th, 25th 35th and 50th HS reunions. I went to another school in the Chicago burbs. I had a ball but I just asked people if they remembered me from math class or history class. About half did! It was a graduating class about 700. After the second one some people actually came up to me and said "Hi great to see you back - what have you been doing all these years?" My wife and some of her good friends from school laughed quite often about it and have made me an unofficial member of the class of 63 OPRF. I graduated in 64 the wife robbed the cradle!
I went to my 45th a few years ago...it was 2000 miles away so I don't get to see these folks except for reunions. It amazes me how much older all of the THEM looked, I guess I have grown used to that old stranger that looks back at me each morning in the mirror! That's one of the beauties of these old trucks though, they always look as good as the year they were born.
It has held its age better than most. That's a nice touch to the reunion. Hope to see all those folks in the 50th. It's a nice problem to have.

Ben, the chocolate factory closed in January. The candy outlet store is still open but they're making a new outlet store across the street. The factory is up for sale. Dennis
Dennis,
That's not good news! If you are ever over in New Hampshire -
go to the little hamlet of Walpole, NH. on the Vermont border. The L.A.
Burdick Chocolate company & restaurant is unbelievable. (Won't be the same as
Lititz's Wilbur chocolate co. sorry).
My wife has me stopping at all chocolate stores, bookstores, & the most dreaded of all
....fabric stores. I think I'll go out in the garage and work on getting my truck's electric fan working
- I hate to hear that Wilbur's is closed).

Wilbur's is still in business and making g chocolate in PA. They just closed the old factory in Lititz, which Wilbur moved into in the early 1900's when they moved from Philadelphia.
