Ac compressor seized question about options

As title says the AC compressor is seized, not sure if it is the bearing or clutch. Ac has a leak and have been adding refrigerant but for the past week the clutch has not been engaged. Today the belt broke and pulley is locked. Is is possible to run with an F150 belt for no ac or is the tensioner different? What other options are there? I was thinking to put a used compressor just to have a free running pulley to have it drive-able.

Thanks for any info.

For the belt to break both the compressor and the pulley bearing have to be seized. If time is an issue then your best bet is a junkyard compressor.

Thanks, I was able to get an 80.5" belt and route it over the idler pulley rib side down to get it to run again. I will research the compressor issue. I did have to swap the idler with the tension pulley as belt didn't have enough clearance between mount and pulley.
