I have a stock height 75 F250 highboy; 63K miles, all original and rust free.
Old hips are making it harder and harder to enter and exit gracefully and painlessly.
Does anyone make a step that can be installed with out drilling?
Thinking of something with clamps or that expands to attach.
Short of a "no drill" type step; any recommendations for period correct steps appreciated.
Thanks
Tbruz
Period correct...full length diamond plate running boards that are drilled to attach. All steps I have even seen are drilled and mounted to the rocker panel/ underside of the cab floor or welded to the frame.
Time to get some newer style single cab Craigslist cheap nerf bars. And then get to figuring out a way modify the mount brackets to clamp/bolt them to or around the frame....or mod them to mount up using the body mount bolt/area? The one for the front cab mount and the rear cab mount bolts?? Maybe a thin piece of metal that is slid in between and then reinstall the bolt and mount the nerf bar or step to the piece of metal???
