'71 F100 inconsistent knocking

Having an interesting problem with my 1971 F100, It's 2WD with a rebuilt 289, 3 speed. It doesn't knock consistently, But usually when I turn hard left, brake or clutch in, it'll knock. Doesn't always happen but pretty frequently, it seems to happen less during cool nights. I can clutch in and it'll knock but stop as soon as I come off the clutch. I initially thought something was hitting the timing belt or the fan but after looking in it for a while today I couldn't see anything hitting or out of place. If anyone has had this problem or anything similar, I'd appreciate any info you got, Thanks in advance!

Wild guess: loose motor mount.
